Get started with the Amplitude source!

Obtain your credentials

If you don't know where to get your credentials for setting up Amplitude integration, you can learn where to find them here.

Enable the source

Head to the flow that you want to add the Amplitude source.

This is the sources page where you should search for the Amplitude connector.

Once you have selected what flow you want to enable the Amplitude source in, you should go ahead and search for the Amplitude in the Sources tab of hotglue.

Here is where you should put in your credentials for your Amplitude account. If you don't have these credentials or don't know where to find them, read the guide below.

Once you have finished putting in your credentials, click the Save button.

And that is it! You have linked the Amplitude source!

Configure the field map

Now that you have connected your Amplitude source, you need to configure what data you want to pull.

The first thing you need to do is go ahead and click on the Amplitude card to configure the field mapping.

The first thing that you need to do is go ahead and click the Field Map button for the Amplitude source.

Once here, you can go and select what you want to bring in from the database you've connected.

Once you've clicked the edit icon, you will have the opportunity to select the fields you want to pull from that table. All the fields or selected ones can be pulled to other side. I am going to use the select all button above the Available column.

Once you are done selecting the fields you want to pull, click the Confirm button.

The edited table will be labeled as "updated" in green. You can repeat the process above for all the tables you want! Once done, go ahead and click the Save button.

Once you are done mapping any of the fields, click save. "Tables fields has been updated" message will be shown. Again click on "Save" button. You have finished configuring your mappings.

Obtain your Client ID and API Key

The first thing you need to do is log in to Amplitude.

The screen will appear where you can enter the organization name and click on Log In button.

Now, you should enter the credentials and hit the Log In button.

On this page, click on the Settings button.

Click on Project on the right side breadcrumb.

Select the project name. Here I am selecting Hotglue.

You can get API key on this page.

Click on the show button, you can get the Secret key.
