If you need to figure out how to access the necessary credentials, head here for a walk-through.
Let's start by selecting the Reddit source from the potential data sources to enable for this flow.
Once you have selected what flow you want to enable the Reddit source in, you should go ahead and search for the Reddit tap in the Sources tab of hotglue.
Now click on the resulting card to select as a Source.
Now that we have selected Reddit as a source, we are going to put OAuth Client ID and Secret. If you don't know where to get these credentials, you can learn where to find them here.
Once you've entered your credentials, click the “Save & Connect" button.
A pop-out will show ask for credentials. Enter your credentials and Log in.
Allow connecting to your reddit account.
Add the name of the subreddit.
And that is it! You have successfully linked Reddit!
Now that you have set up your source, you need to configure your mapping. Click on the field map button below the Reddit source.
Click on the card to get started.
Click on “Customize field map” editor.
Once here, you can go and select what you want to bring in from Reddit. For this example, I am going to select the comments stream by clicking the corresponding edit icon.
You can now select specific fields identified in each Table to map in the Field Editor. Specific, multiple or all fields can be selected use the arrow in the middle to move those objects over to the Chosen column.
Once you have selected which fields you want, you click Confirm button.
The edited table will be labeled as "updated" in green. You can repeat the process above for all the tables you want! Once done, go ahead and click the Save button.
Once you are done mapping any of the fields, click save. "Field map updated" message will be shown. You have finished configuring your mappings.
The first thing you need to do is log in to the Reddit.
Enter the credentials and click on Sign in button.
Navigate to "Reddit Apps". Create a new app.
Enter the credentials. You should add the Redirect URI https://hotglue.xyz/callback.
Once you are done, you can also get your Client ID and Client Secret. Now you can go ahead and copy the credentials into hotglue.
